Department of Government Affairs and Administration UMY Held Thesis Defense
The Government Affairs and Administration of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta holds a thesis exam on December 10-11 2018. Thesis examinations were attended by 44 students.
Thesis Examination is a form of accountability for the final assignment made by the Student to the Thesis Supervisor Lecturer (DPS) and Thesis Testing Lecturer. The thesis exam is also one of the graduation requirements for UMY Government Science Study Program Students.
Before taking the Thesis Examination, Students first take the Thesis Proposal Examination and the guidance process conducted by the DPS as well as research to get the data needed.
Wawan Eka Putra explained that before carrying out the Thesis Examination it must be carefully prepared. “Before taking the Thesis Examination, you need careful preparation both mentally and the quality of your thesis. We recommend that you use the guidance obtained from the DPS and follow the revision process properly, so that when the Thesis Exams can all run smoothly, “said one of the students who took the Thesis Examination.
“Thesis Exams are hard, but I try to convince myself and it turns out that after completing the Thesis Examination the impression that is obtained is not what was imagined before. The Thesis Examination reflects us. If we enjoy and follow each process well, the Thesis Examination will feel more enjoyable, “said Queen Khoirunnisa Marjuki.
Muhammad Eko Atmojo, S.IP., M.IP as the Secretary of Government Affairs and Administration of UMY said that the hope of the implementation of this Thesis Examination, namely the Students of Government Science Study Program of UMY was able to apply the results of their Thesis to be implemented or initiated after graduation. “This Thesis Exam is a form of process that is carried out to be applied later in the world of academics, politicians, consultants, to entrepreneurs. Then the hope of this Thesis Examination is able to provide wisdom from the process experienced from the lecture to completing the Thesis, with the consideration of making the best use of time, “he concluded.
