Politic; Who Gets What, When, and How, as the title of the book Harold Lasswell, a political scientist of the United States (US), which was published in 1936. In simple language, no free lunch, there is no free lunch in the political language of power.
That’s what is happening lately when Jokowi-Maaruf compiled the composition of his cabinet. In politics, the share of the power cake resulting from the struggle is normal. Just how we put according to the portion. In the formation of the cabinet 2019-2024 Jokowi was even more flexible than in 2014 because there was no more imagery for the 2024 presidential election to advance. He certainly thought he had to leave the best legacy to get the heart of the republic after five years ago he was often attacked by negative images never end.
After the adoption of the Constitutional Court (MK), Jokowi said that he was the president for all, there was no longer 01 or 02. Therefore, in the formation of the cabinet, Jokowi certainly considered a number of things, such as the aspirations of coalition parties, professionals, and civil forces professional circles, and civil forces, among others represented by Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul Ulama (NU).
The combination of the three elements became Jokowi’s strategy in forming a cabinet. Indonesia is the largest Muslim in the world and the third largest democracy in the world after India and America. Various ethnicities and ethnic groups were found in 17 thousand islands in this republic. This greatness cannot be separated from the contributions of the two Islamic organizations engaged in their respective fields.
