The increasing development of research, service and collaboration that has been carried out by the Study Program and Laboratory of the Government Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta needs to be responded quickly and accurately. Besides being balanced with the provision of quality facilities to ensure the implementation of lecture activities in a better direction, there is also the need for innovation. To absorb the aspirations and innovations of the Lecturers, the UMY IP Study Laboratory held a Laboratory Development Meeting (08/23/18).
This meeting was led directly by Dr. Muchammad Zaenuri, M.Si (Chair of the Government Science Study Program), also attended Muhammad Eko Atmojo, S.IP., M.IP. (Secretary of Government Science Study Program) and Sakir, S.IP., M.IP (Coordinator of Government Science Laboratory) and IP Study Program Lecturer at UMY.
Starting this meeting, Muhammad Eko Atmojo, S.IP., M.IP. convey some of the aspirations that have been collected by him. Some of these aspirations will be discussed further in this forum. Like, forming a special class for students who have good academic value and achievement in several classes and optimizing the presence of academic supervisors to improve learning guidance for students. Next, Dr. Muchammad Zaenuri, M.Si appealed to the lecturers to continue to improve their enthusiasm in carrying out community service programs.
It’s undeniable Lab. IP UMY as part of the UMY IP Study Program tried to support the teaching and learning process by giving practice in the lab. computer and field practice for students, who also have the task of organizing academic activities in the practical field as an additional theory that has been obtained by students in the classroom.
