The Department of Government Affairs and Administration Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on Friday (1/2/2019) successfully held the Inauguration Night. Participants who are candidates for graduates of the Department of Government Affairs and Administration UMY Period II along with their parents/guardians come with cheerful and happy faces. As stated by the Head of Government Affairs and Administration UMY Dr. Muchamad Zaenuri, M.Si in his speech said that these cheerful faces would later become successful candidates.
“Today is still a student, but tomorrow is no longer a student. After graduating, don’t forget our beloved alma mater, “said Zaenuri. This was conveyed because behind the success of the alumni, it could be shown that the graduates of Government Affairs and Administration UMY had the same quality even more than state universities. In addition, Zaenuri also said that the Government Affairs and Administration UMY received a mandate from the University Leader to submit AUN-QA Certification. Because Government Affairs and Administration UMY is considered capable and feasible to get international certification.
Dr. Titin Purwaningsih, S.IP., M.Si, as the Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Political Sciences UMY in his opening remarks and opening the event gave the highest appreciation to the Government Affairs and Administration UMY which had successfully held the Inauguration Night.
In addition, Mrs. Titin also gave a message to prospective graduates and graduates who graduated on Saturday, February 2, 2019. “If it later becomes a politician, then be a trustworthy politician and still have to instill Islamic values ​​in carrying out it,” Titin said. The message delivered was hope for graduates of this Superior and Islamic university. In addition to excelling in academics, alumni must also excel in carrying out Shari’a and Islamic values ​​that are applied in daily life.
“What is always remembered is the struggle while waiting for graduation. There is no futile struggle. Graduation is the beginning of everything, we have to get out of our limits, “said Mia Rosmiati, Student of Government Affairs and Administration UMY International Class 2015. Sos, also the Head of the Bantul Regency Tourism Office expressed his happiness. In a speech attended by all Managers and Lecturers of Government Affairs and Administration UMY and Master of Government Affairs and Administration UMY, Heru expressed his gratitude and good impression to the UMY Government Affairs and Administration UMY which had been accredited A 3 times from BAN-PT.
