Two Teams of IP UMY Students Successfully Achieve Two Champion at Once

Two teams of Governmental Studies delegation UMY success reaching two champions at once in public policy Innovation Competition “National Governance Days 2018” (NGD) organized by the Student Government, a set of POLITICAL SCIENCE, University of Padjajaran, Jatinangor, West Java on January 8 to May 11, 2018. The competition was attended by 18 teams of finalists who managed to advance to the final round of the 15 community colleges or STATE-BUILDING Indonesia as Unesa, University Singaperbangsa, UGM, Universitas Airlangga University, Brawijaya University of Hasanuddin University, UM, Jambi, UI, Fob, University Tadulako University of Pattimura, Unpad, Muhammadiyah University of Mataram, and two teams of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, the whole team seeks the best display for the champion one and two. Where the two teams that qualify UMY delegates in different classes, namely class Environmentally Youth and youth Autonomy.
Series of events begins with the activities of the NGD technical meeting on the first day, then coaching clinic by policy experts (in the second), and then continued with the presentation of the work activities or public policy innovation of each team (third day) , and concludes with a national seminar at the same time the announcement of the winner (on the fourth day). On a class of youth Environmentally chaired by Ruli Desianti (Government Science, 2015) with members, Al Fauzi Rahmat (IGOV 2015) and Hendy Setiawan (Government Science, 2016 ) qualify as finalists with an essay entitled “Area: Smart Strategies Reducing plastic waste and economic empowerment in urban and Rural Communities “. Later, won the Champion II after presenting his paper overview entitled “Literate-tour: the development of Tourism in the tourist area of nautical Literacy”.
While in different classes, namely, Youth Autonomy, chaired by Iqbal Muhammad Khatami (communication science 2016) along with members of the Ulfah Zulfa Siti Nur Afifah (Government Science, 2016 ) and Delilah Putri Sadayi (Government science, 2017). The second team to qualify as a finalist with the essay entitled “E-Poll (Electronic Political Learning): optimization of the role of political parties in the political education through the Media 2.0”. Later, won the Champion II after presenting his paper overview entitled “Makaryo Kulon Progo (Incubating and Culture Industry City): the application of Alternative development policy, development efforts as the cultural Industry Center Tags”.
