Yogyakarta, April 10, 2019, The Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science Study Program of UMY conducts Thesis training, in order to prepare all students in facing the final assignment, through the training students are provided with how to make good proposals and use appropriate research methods.
Located in the AR building. Fachrudin B Lt 5, the activity began from 08:00 until 15:00, by presenting several speakers with three different themes, Dr. Suranto. M.Pol gave a theme regarding the use of Qualitative methods in research, he said that social students such as Science Government are still many who are allergic to this method because of many plays with numbers. In the second session, the speakers presented were Awang Darumurti, S.IP ,. M.Sc, he explained how to make a good and easy research proposal to be accepted, and what things should be considered when making a proposal. “Making a thesis? who is afraid “, the slogan that he brought, through the slogan he wanted to convey that the final assignment in the form of scrutiny was not a scary thing, because so far for most thesis students still are the biggest enemy in fulfilling the requirements as a scholar.
In the last session by discussing the theme of Qualitative Research Methods with Resource Person Dr.Phil. Ridho Al-Hamdi ,. M.A, a lecturer graduating from TU Dortmund University explained how to research by using a good Qualitative method. He also advised the students to determine research topics that were suitable for their respective interests so that they could be done wholeheartedly.
The expectations of the Government Science Study Program from the holding of these activities, such as those delivered by the Secretary of the Study Program, Muhammad Eko Admojo. S.IP., M.Sc. so that students can graduate on time. And not afraid of facing the final project in the form of a thesis.
