Yogyakarta – Some final-year students think that thesis is a frightening specter for them. In dismissing the negative thoughts about the thesis, the Government Affairs and Administration Laboratory of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta held a Klinik Skripsi activity.
Activities held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the K.H Building. Ibrahim E.6 5th floor of UMY Integrated Campus was attended by Dr. Muchamad Zaenuri, M.Si (Chairperson of Government Affairs and Administration UMY), Muhammad Eko Atmojo, S.IP., M.IP (Secretary of Government Affairs and Administration UMY), Dr. phil. Ridho Al-Hamdi, MA (Secretary of the International Class / IGOV), Sakir, S.IP., M.IP (Laboratory Coordinator of Government Affairs and Administration UMY), Novi Diana Fauzie, SS., MA (Librarian UMY), Dr Suswanta, M. Si and David Efendi, MA as lecturers and 134 students of the 7th semester of the Government Affairs and Administration UMY .
Starting the Klinik Skripsi activity, Muhammad Eko Atmojo, S.IP., M.IP in his remarks invited all final year students to immediately complete their thesis which is one of the main requirements that must be taken to graduate from the of the Government Affairs and Administration UMY and obtain an S.IP.
Dyah Melly Anawati said that “Klinik Skripsi Activity held since 2015 is a very positive activity for us, especially helping in completing the thesis. At first, I personally didn’t really understand how to write a thesis technique and look for the right reference, after attending this thesis clinic I became able and understood to write the correct thesis, “said one participant of the Klinik Skripsi.
The hope of holding this Klinik Skripsi is that students can understand and understand how to write a correct thesis so that this activity is always held every year to further emphasize that the Department of Government Affairs and Administration UMY is very serious to produce qualified graduates. “This Klinik Skripsi event is very useful especially for those of us who really want to graduate on time with a good quality thesis. The hope is that this Klinik Skripsi event will be held regularly every year so that our younger siblings also get the same opportunity as us, “said Ulinnuha Adha. (Faisal/Andrean).
