Department of Government Affairs and Administration UMY and Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) strengthen Cooperation through International Seminar

Kedah, Malaysia (27/03/2018) Department of Government Affairs and Administration and Master of Government Affairs and Administration Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, International Seminar on Development Studies (ISDES) on 24-28 March 2018. The event was organized by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) knowledge in political science by presenting experts and students from bachelor to master degree. And to differentiate the cooperation between UMY and UUM. There are several topics discussed in forums such as Urban Development and Planning, Land, Housing & Property, Local Government, Community & Political Development, and Environment & Sustainable Development.
Governmental Science represented by international class (IGOV) sends 2 student international class; Tomy Waskitho Nur Rochman & Lirandifa Putri Suratna, 5 students from the Master Government Affairs and Administration Studies; Akhmad Habibullah, Nurhidayat Muhammad Ishak, Lift Ismail, Murniyati Yanur, and Fine Devi Sarah Mandini, 4 lecturers; Dr.phil. Ridho Al-Hamdi, MA (International Class Secretary), Dr. Muchamad Zaenuri (Head Department of Government Affairs and Administration), Dr. Erni Zuhriyati (Secretary of Government Affairs and Administration) and Dr. Suswanta, M.Si (Lecturer of Government Affairs and Administration) and Milla Farrihatul Ahna (International Class Staff).
This event is not only academic exposure, but also Monitoring related to UUM is a green and cool campus that exist in Malaysia. Participants are also treated with exploration of natural beauty around UUM, such as visiting forests, doing outbound activities, and other natural activities.
